Hi all,

does anybody of you know of some OF magic for bringing back the startup
sound in Mac computers?

I accidentally had the Mac OS X install CD booted on my ibook2, which
defaults to disable the startup sound.
Now I am looking for a possibility to reenable this sound in Open
Firmware.

I am not familiar with OF and the documents I found about it on
apple.com didn't mention any sound stuff either.

Any hints are greatefully appreciated.

Holger

You sure the volume isnt muted?
Try zapping PRAM/resetting PMU.
