Hi !

I coudln't find on the web how to change the charset of the shells (those
you get with ctrl-F1-F6) whose name I'm not sure about.

Is it possible to change this ? And maybe the font too ?

Thanks

I'm not sure about the character set, but I think the change you need to make is
in /etc/sysconfig/i18n

The font is easier. You'll find the bitmaps in /lib/kbd/consolefonts, and all
you have to do is use ``setfont``. Ex.:

cd /lib/kbd/consolefonts ; setfont cybercafe

If memory serves, you should also be able to specify the bitmap you want
in /etc/sysconfig/i18n

HTH!
