is developping and buyable, now ?

there are a lot of Freescale and AMCC devel board around.
As end-user boar i can think only Acube Sam440ep.

No.

440ep is a PowerPC SOC (System on a Chip) that was used in the IBM BG/L.
BG/L was first built in 2004.

As end-user boar i can think only Acube Sam440ep.
They also have a newer board now with PCI-X, more RAM, faster cpu, etc

and both models have an FPGA socket which allows for many interesting
possibilities, including genetic/ neural net / fuzzy hardware
implemented as well as ARM and PPC cores...

If I ever get my software into production (alpha) I might consider
getting one of these.
