Try to install, but I don't think it is fully supported as yet.
Will grow fast for sure, but I don't know about _now_.

If you want to use Linux-PPC64, Gentoo seems to be the best option; I
don't know about the Imac, but we have a PowerMac that runs it.

I'm sorry I'm a real newbie here. But, YellowDog 4.0 runs nicely on a
PowerBook G4 and I have it running an old g3 pismo. The only problem is
sound, I cann't seem to get it to work. You can download ISOs from
here: http://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/yellowdog .
